What a laugh! You and the lads recently played at our wedding reception in Westerham (19th April). It was absolutely brilliant and great fun. The band seemed to enjoy themselves too, well, the lead guitarist certainly had a smile on him all evening…even after the shots came out!
Sorry if we were a little picky on the run up – it was really important to us that the band was good and you certainly were. Sera, you have a great voice and you played loads of good tunes that kept the dance floor full. By the third set we were left with a core 40 or 50 people ALL glued to the dance floor and enjoying the night.
We received loads of compliments about the band and questions about how we found them….the power of the internet. So you can see just how important it is to have good demos tracks and a varied play list…
The booking side of things was clear enough with Peter and any additional charges were explained.

Many thanks to Sera and the Men in Black for playing at our College Ball. The choice of music was fantastic and was made even better by the way it was played. Proof of this could be seen by both the packed dancefloor and the tapping feet of all those watching. Just as important (at least to our nervous entertainment booker) was that the band were punctual, professional and unbelievably cheerful throughout the whole night. Definitely recommended.

I can honestly say that I would recommend them to anyone - the band were obviously experienced at these kind of events and were incredibly flexible and professional right from the day we booked them to the end of the evening. Right from the time of booking the band, Sera made sure that all the necessary arrangements were made with regard to setting up and playing times, that side of things was very easy on our part. When the band started playing, I couldn't believe what a sophisticated sound they had. The extra brass players were excellent, and the singing was wonderful. The band managed to cater for everyone's tastes, right from our younger guests, right through to the older members of the audience who we had feared would go home after the dinner!
