Funkdelics

The Funkdelics are a compact 3 or 4 piece band with the flexibility to perform at any event. The band features up to 4 outstanding professional musicians, and can be booked with or without live drums. Disco, soul, 80's, 90's, rock, pop and Skool Disco.

This means that while the 4 piece band is perfectly suitable to fill even the biggest of events, the 3 piece band is perfect for smaller venues that don't have so much space to spare. The band use backing tracks to replace any missing instrumentalists, which means although you book and pay for a 3 or 4 piece band, you hear the live sound of a much larger 14-15 piece band.

The band pride themselves on providing a dance-floor filling set featuring party hits from the past 50 years. Artists covered include Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Robbie Williams, Kool and the Gang.

The band also try to keep as up to date as possible with current chart hits and are constantly updating their playlist to incorporate modern day party favourites.

The 3 piece band option
The three piece band features female lead vocals, a multi-talented keyboard player who also provides lead female vocals and a guitarist who provides a male vocal. This line-up is especially designed for those with budget or space restrictions as the band can set up in as small a space as 8' x 4' 4 piece band:

The 4 piece option:

Provides the added dimension of a live drummer. This takes the band dynamically to a whole new level and is perfectly suited to clients wishing to create more of a 'live band' feel without paying for extra musicians like bass and brass that is featured on the band's backing tracks. A live drummer brings an element of excitement to the band sound and is recommended if you want a high impact party band

Repertoire List

The band can supply 2 x 60mins (or 3 x 40mins) sets, which consist of a dynamic mixture of disco, soul, 80's, 90's, rock and pop. Alternatively, clients can substitute the second set for a fully costumed themed set! This is a great way to get your guests to let their hair down! Sets available are currently 70's disco and Skool Disco - but if you have any ideas, just let us know and we'll see what we can come up with!
