AFU Funk and Soul BandA young lively 7 piece funk and soul band ideal for wedding receptions and parties. Now booking for 2008 with dates still available Christmas and New Years Eve. This Funky Soul band are one of the Midland's hottest function bands attracting phenomenal customer feedback from every gig. The band has a massive repertoire of party favourites and classic hits from the last four decades, providing entertainment for all ages at any special event, wedding or party. The 7 band members are all incredibly talented and have played together for several years now, in many different bands. They can provide background music between sets to maintain the party atmosphere or we can supply a suitable Dj in support. A fully self contained band with a large state of the art PA rig, Lighting rig and backdrop. For the safety of your guests, we have comprehensive Public Liability Insurance and all of our equipment is PAT tested.Space Requirements We can play comfortably in any space 20ft wide by 10ft deep. We prefer to work with a minimum of four 13 amp sockets near to the stage. When positioning audience tables, please do not place them directly in front of the speakers, which will be at the extreme left and right of the stage area; this is for the comfort of the audience.Your Venue The Venue Management should have arrangements to facilitate easy access for the unloading and loading of the Artiste’s equipment. Every effort should be made for the reservation of parking spaces for the Artiste’s vehicles.
